Payment does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued; if a provider determines treatment is not appropriate, no prescription is written.
Compounded medication. Compounded medications are prepared for an individual patient from a valid, patient-specific prescription by licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A licensed provider will determine whether a compounded medication is appropriate for you.
